I really saw my eldest daughter's video game literacy grow throughout our time playing this game together. I selected it because I remembered sharing the controls with my younger sister when she was too young to play on her own, and I thought my princess-obsessed daughter might get the same kick out of it. At first, she was interested, but just wanted to watch me play or to point out things on the screen. By the end, she had her hands on the whole controller and was pressing most of the buttons by herself! All I did was provide gentle instruction and hold my big hands over her little ones so I could use the joystick. In 2012, as a spectacular advertising campaign for their new movie,  Wreck-It Ralph , Disney released a few different takes on Ralph's fictional home game. Each based on the clips from the film, they offer similar aesthetics and gameplay, but their different development teams and target platforms meant they wouldn't exactly match each other. Of the different versions, the only one I have played myself is the iOS release that came both as a free standalone and in a dollar combo pack alongside mobile interpretations of all of the fictional arcade games featured in the film. Combining the tried-and-true mechanics of the prolific "match-3" style puzzle game (remixed with tumble-y physics) and Disney's recognizable characters make the original Tsum Tsum title into LINE's greatest gaming hit. Targeted towards casual mobile-gamers, this plushie-themed puzzle game asks players to clear as many little Disney characters as they can within a 60-second timer. In order to keep things exciting, events introduce limited-time gameplay gimmicks and rare collectibles. Although I wouldn't consider myself much of a "match-3" lover, I have recently been getting more into the mobile gaming space, as life gets busier. As I love Disney , Tsum Tsum was almost a no-brainer to at least try. I found the gameplay loop to get a little repetitive, but only after amassing quite a collection of Tsums and playing through multiple events.
